Yesterday I finally received my first palette of Nude Lip Colour from Smoochiezz.




Its actually in Matte but look shiny upon application. The colours may look "bright" in the paletter but once upon application, you can see the nude effect.
Will use asap and review it.

As the cold season is coming, my skin will be at its super dry period.. So i decided to change my foundation to....

True Match Super-Blendable Liquid Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid


So what is Hyaluronuic Acid??? You can refer to this link, Hydluronic Acid.
In summary, its something that super hydrate the skin, preventing of wrinkles and healing of scars as what I know.. If got any info wrong, do let me know. But its a saviour for my skin. As my skin starts to peel so so damm jia lat, especially the nose and chin areas, I decide to change my Loreal White Pearl Liquid Foundation to True Match Liquid foundation with Hyaluronic Acid.

For those who don know, I am a huge fan of Loreal but my skin changes from season to season and will peel very very seriously during cold season, no joke. My face will crack.

Anyway I am very happy with the results as I wont feel heavy and its really easily blendable on my skin and hydrating it. Nv see a crack spot or flarking skin.




Pros : Hydrating and easy to apply. Light weight
Cons : Quite pricy at #30.90 for a bottle. Best to be a Watsons member so you can collect points.

Hand cream

I used to be like most people using Crabtree and Evelyn's handcreams and was so rave of them... but my sudden outbreak of eczema detroys my "freedom" of using them again... I was so sad and yet envy people who can use the brand, especially the ROSEWATER!!! They are so nice smelling and moist enough but it cant work well on my eczema skin..

Since then, I learnt my lesson and said bye bye to Crabtree and Evelyn and change to QV series..


As eczema skin must stay away from creams that have frangance so QV was the right one for me. I first encountered it when I was using Cetaphil series for healing my polka dots skin. Cetaphil managed to heal my skin and clear all the spots which no doctors can do it. I love using Cetaphil on my body especially at night when my skin can aborb them the most, I dont really like using in day time as I will feel so sticky throughout. So QV caught my eyes as.. QV and Cetaphil are always placed together in all retail stores, and QV is another brand especially formulated for dry and Eczema skin, being tempted I give it a try and agree how it works for me.
Since then I always have at least 1 tube with me.

As you can see the lotion have 2 different type, QV Skin Lotion for repairing skin and QV cream for replenishing dry skin. You may think I am crazy but I always layer them together for that max. moisture I need... Repair and replenish my skin, why not!!! And its cheap... cheaper than any brands of lotions or creams I know.. Most important.. Fragance free.... Its also Dermatologist certified so its safe to be use on children as well..

I cant help but agree with her method as I tried it just this week and feel my skin absorb the moisturizer even better... I do it for my Habo Labo Lotion, Vichy Imperfection, Loreal Revitalift and Bio Essence Tanaka White Night cream...
As I am layering for my morning and night routine, this method "save" me from waiting for my skin to absorb the creams and lotions...

Now now, let me show you the steps as quoted from My Women Stuff

■ Scoop or pump a dollop of moisturizer into the palm of your hand. It should be only a small dollop, about the size of a pea.

■ Rub your palms together, warming up the moisturizer and spreading it between your palms.

■ Start with your cheeks and then spread the moisturizer gently to your forehead and nose and lastly the chin.

Hugh Jackman's latest blockbuster, Real Steel definately caught my eyes... Seriously cant wait to catch the movie...
For those who do not know... If I am to have a robot like this, I will want my robot to have the ability to be my Personal Assistant with good fashion and life style knowledges and also common sense... Why? Because they can help me with my housework, taking care of my children, taking care for my parents ( so I no need to send them to Old Folks homes and make them feel lonely in there ), giving me good fashion advice, shopping with me when my husband is busy working, and most most most important, helping me out with houseworks!!!!! See!!! This kind of robot will definately helps me to lighten my burden so I can concentrate on my work... How great is that!!!!!!

Having to leave a fren and leader for 10 yrs is very heart breaking for me...

Acne Clear

I never once thought there will be a day I will actually use a pimple treatment cream. It all started when one of my aunties had got serious acne problem and she was visiting skin doctors for it. She was very active in using acne/pimple cream. But when she thought its all gone and she can stop, all the pimples came back again. Its quite a scary experience.
But as I read so many beauty bloggers raving about this Acne Clear, I decided to give it a try as I had got 4 to 5 pimples popping. To my amaze, it actually dry up the pimples and also my badly clogged pores, all in one night. I am really surprise as I tried many ways but my pores are still very badly clogged, mainly due to my daily application of make-up. But this Acne Clear really do surprise me. It even work faster than those doctors' precription. Another thing I like is how the cream is in beige colour so we can easy blend in our skin like a concealer. Its really cheap at less than $5 and can be found at all watsons and guardians.

I had been irrirated by my dry skin after I had gave birth to my baby boy.
Its like a total change for me and since then I had been so so troubled by my dry yet acne prone skin.
And yes, finding a good or suitable foundation had been hectic for me too...
You see, Singapore had more oily acne prone ladies than dry, acne prone ladies.
Been trying so many brands but when the cold season is here, BUMP, skin peeling off again.. So the lady working in the beauty shop which I always patroned introduce me to this product,Mayfair Whitening Powder Cake from United States...



As stated in the packaging, its with Vitamin E and C, THANK GOD!!! and provides 24 hours long lasting moisturizing effect .
With ingredients such as Mulberry Extract , Mineriat Oil , Vitamin E and C, I feel why not I just try.


Pros : Been 3 days since using and I quite like the light feeling and how it wont dry out my skin like other powder foundation. Easy to apply on and price is relatively reasonable.

Cons : Sadly it comes with one tone only, so its one tone darker for me.. Coverage not so well, around Medium Coverage...

I always like her blog and read a lot of useful info about skincare and taking care of our skin.
Was reading through today and saw her thoughts on Skincare Ingredient. Some of them are being told to me for being VERY GOOD but they really don work well for me....SO I am happy she break them down and explain why...

1. Mineral Oil/Petroleum
This sits on the skin and forms a film on the skin, to prevent any contact from the environment to your skin. But in the long run, mineral oil can be drying for the skin as it prevents the skin from absorbing moisture and may also clog pores and cause pimples.

2. Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLS)
This is a surfactant and is a very effective foaming agent. This is a very dangerous poison used in hair care and skin care and it is commonly used because it is cheap. But this thing is really a killer; it can also cause skin to be dry in the long run and skin irritation.

3. Collagen
Collagen’s molecules are too big to be absorbed by the skin. They only sit on the surface of the skin and do nothing. It also suffocates the skin.

4. Sodium Chloride (Salt)
Use to give the product a thicker consistency look. But it can cause eye and skin irritation.

5. Alcohol
Used to give a cooling, refreshing effect on the skin. However too much Alcohol may be too drying for the skin and sensitive skin might be allergic to it.

I love my name

I always love my name, Priscilla.
Yes, its registered on my Birth Cert and NRIC.
Its following me for the past 25 yrs.
I only get to know about this name when I am in Primary 4 when my class had 2 Li Ting.
Ended up my teacher asked me why I did not use my Christian name but I gave her that "blur" look cuz I didnt know I had one. Mami also nv tell me lor.
Its was then I know, I was given Priscilla by my auntie.
I find it unqiue as my family are given April, June, this kind of common name.
But Priscilla... its special to me. And what shock me further was, the name Priscilla was even in the Bible!!!! I was told and saw it when I became a Christian. She was a very faithful and successful business woman and together she and her husband worked in the way of God and was recorded in the Bible. How crazy was that!!!
I felt even more proud knowing this.
So I wiki and found this...

Loreal White Perfect Pearl Foundation

Because of my naturally dry combination skin, I had issues looking for that perfect foundation. I used to have powder foundation but its seems too cakey for me. Yanting and Poh even thinks that my face peels more when using a powder foundation. So I decide maybe I should change to liquid and I went to the Loreal Counter and saw this...



I'm always a huge fan of Loreal's Make up series. They offer the best tone matching for my skin and will not clog my pores.
So I gave it a try and wala!! As good as it promise, it did gives off a radiant glow for me and as its liquid so it provide hydrating effect for my skin. So far so good and I am still at my first bottle, so we will see if Loreal will offer us more selection by the time I finish...

Now now... Time to slowly "retrieve" back my beauty post... sob..
First Stop.. VICHY~~!!!!!!



Normaderm Hydrating Anti Imprefection Cream....
Review : I love it... 3 simple words to describe my review.. I am not being bias but this one really do wonders for me.. It dry up my pimples and prevent zits on my face.. Its good~~~!! Althought it for oily skin and too dry for me but I will usually apply a layer of moisturzer after that to prevent the dry-out

Good : dry up pimples and prevent serum build up and zits
Bad: 30 ml is for $19.90 yet the 50 ml is $39.90 so I suggest buying the 30 ml or getting the 50ml during sales..

Ok I was given Mentholatum Acnes Clear $ White Wash a few weeks ago and got my hands on Physiogel Cleanser like FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Both items are being used for 2 weeks now and my reviews???

Mentholatum Acnes Clear and White Wash:
Reviews : I had been a big fan of their lip balm so when I was given this, I thought why not try it. After so many "tests", I realised my skin belongs to dry combination where I got Acne prone yet dry skin. Its a torture. So I decided to give this cleanser a try. Its quite dry after cleansing but I can feel it cleanse and "heals" my pimples, Its rather dry so I make sure I apply my moisturzer right after cleansing. But its strong enough to help me control my acnes and cleanse my pores. So far not much whitening effects can be seen so I will continue to use till the last drop.
Good :Cheap, fast effects, cleanse deeper
Bad :Dry


Physiogel Cleanser
Review : I got to admit this feel no different from Cetaphil which I had been using for a year now.. but better than QV.. Its rather ex compare to Cetaphil and I don see the "repair" as indicated.. Maybe got to use with the cream??
But I will still use Cetaphil as its much cheaper as compare to their 1 litre size.
Its good that Watsons did sell the trial size at $3 if not I will be regretting for buying the big bottle...
